A fourth-generation Slidell native with more than 45 years in law enforcement — Slidell Police officer, State Police lieutenant, and Chief of Police from 2016 — Randy Fandal was elected the 23rd Mayor of Slidell on October 11, 2025 with 72% of the vote. City Hall is open Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. at 2055 Second Street.
