Olde Towne Slidell
The historic heart of the city — and a Main Street program
Slidell’s Olde Towne Preservation District preserves and protects the history and heritage of the city by stabilizing and improving property values in Olde Towne. New construction, additions, exterior alterations, relocations or demolitions in Olde Towne need an approved Certificate of Appropriateness — some administratively, others through the Olde Towne Preservation District Commission, which meets the second Wednesday of each month at 5:00 p.m.
